Terms
Website Terms of Use
Pre-publication version. Subject to final review before launch.
The terms that apply when you use our website. Short and plain, with separate agreements for our paid services.
About these terms
These terms apply to your use of thepeoplebit.co.uk (the “website”), operated by The People Bit. By using the website, you agree to them. They don’t cover our paid services, which have their own agreements (see “Our paid services”).
Using the website
- Use the website lawfully, and don’t interfere with its operation or security.
- Don’t attempt to access parts of the website or its systems that aren’t intended for you.
- Information you submit through forms must be accurate, and must not include other people’s personal information unless you are entitled to share it.
Content and intellectual property
The website and its content, including text, design, the TPB logo, the TPB AI Agent character, illustrations and videos, belong to The People Bit or its licensors. You may view and share pages for your own business purposes, but you may not copy, adapt or reuse the content commercially without our written permission.
AI Agent demonstrations
The TPB AI Agent is in development. The interactive examples on the website are scripted demonstrations of planned capabilities, using fictional scenarios. They don’t use a live AI system, connect to any company systems, or process the choices you make. Features, availability and timing may change before launch, and nothing on the website is a commitment to provide a particular feature.
General information, not professional advice
Content on the website is general information about People topics and our services. It isn’t legal advice or professional advice about your situation. For advice you can rely on, please speak to us about Human Advisory, or to a qualified adviser.
Third-party links
The website may link to other websites. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content or how they handle your information.
Our liability
We work to keep the website accurate and available, but we provide it “as is” and can’t guarantee it will always be complete, current or uninterrupted.
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the website’s content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Our paid services
Human Advisory and any other paid services are provided under their own agreements. If those agreements and these website terms differ, the service agreement applies to the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies when you use the website.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
